Sandy Vaught is a controller with experience in insurance, financial services and retail industries.

Sandy joined JTR in 2002. As manager of operations, she is responsible for accounting, licensing, producer appointments, commissions and application processing for the long-term care insurance boutique.

Prior to joining JTR, Sandy was controller for Cost Cutters Family Hair Care. Her responsibilities included accounting, payroll processing, human resources and establishing new salons. Under her leadership, Cost Cutters grew 37% from 13 salons to 35 across Arizona and Texas.

She started her career in financial services where she managed numerous functions in retail banking and mortgage processing.

Sandy studied Early Childhood Education and received an Associate of Arts degree from Pima Community College. She is the mother of two daughters and grandmother of two.

She is very involved in volunteer work for her church and recently was on assignment in Mexico to help build homes for the poor.

Sandy is an Arizona native and lives in Tucson with her husband, Larry.
